+ which interesting 2010 occupations pay between $40,000 and $275,000 USD.
+ how your last paycheck ranks among 60 cities from Ketchikan to Key West.
+ the number of employed in each city to show competition or opportunity.
+ how your occupation compares with up to 25 other occupations based on your personality.
+ if your occupation is expanding or contracting.
+ what everyone else makes.

How it works.....

There are two U.S. Agencies* that track about 834 occupations. One Agency focuses on personality traits. The other Agency focuses on occupation pay. This App ties the two together.

To keep the Salaries App manageable and representative, the following filters were implemented:
+ data from each Agency had to be complete and current.
+ for a city to be included for an occupation, the count of employed had to fall between 30 and 2499.
+ the median salary in each city had to fall between $40K and $275K.
+ cities had to be geographically diverse.
+ an occupation had to have at least 10 cities that fit all of the above.
